  • Saints mean sinners- sinners mean saints - Middle path is wisest. Only nothing can create nothing-there for do nothing as

Or other wise play your part in the ongoing evoltion of human mind. Its all good. We are bubbles. Cosmic Awareness inflates us. Cosmic Awareness surounds us. We are beautiful bubbles glistening in the light of the Eternal. Who does not appreciate bubbles - the bigger the better. Archea were the first and smallest we and the whales are the largest.

  • My life goal is to save peanuts!!

  • Brad is part of a maverick Soto Zen sect which follows the teachings of Dogen Zenji. Personally, I think Dogen was a fucking nut case. But if you want to waste your life on a nut case - go for it! I would rather study what the Buddha taught.

  • There are some people I do encourage. This is not very often. Most people get their Zen indirectly from the world!

  • @CambZenCenter What the "pop Zen" people teach is a pale reflection of what Soto Zen is. And Soto Zen is, too, a pale reflection of what the authentic Chan of the Patriarchs is. I would urge everyone reading this to discard this laughable idea that somehow sitting will free you from birth-and-death, polishing a tile into a mirror is like washing your hands in tar. It will only teach people how to get even more attached to this crappy realm of the five skandhas. People, read Hui-Neng first of all

  • Yes

  • Zen isn't really a 'feelgood' thing, but it can be a helpful tool to know better who you are and what your job is...However, if you're not feeling so good, maybe time to go to the doctor!
