1. America is failing because we've lost our principles of a strong work ethic of producing products and real services. Instead we created the wealthiest class that make money from creating financial instruments that produce nothing.

2. We did not tax and spend to get us out of the great recession. The stimulus reduced taxes on 95%, left it the same on the rest, help the massively unemployed, and invested in infrastructure and investments in areas abandoned for too long. The stimulus was too small. It should have been on the order of stimulus created by WWII.

3. Changes to healthcare brought honesty. Everyone in US gets healthcare. Without reform the responsible pay for the poor and irresponsible through taxes and high insurance rates. Reform makes the irresponsible pay and the poor gets honorable care before illness gets out of hand and more costly.

4. Government bailed out very few industries to keep manufacturing and jobs in the US as well as financial system to prevent catastrophe and will make a profit on the deal as it returns to private hands.

The lethal mistake peeps on the left make is assuming that government greed is any less corrupt and destructive than free-market greed; indeed government greed is many, many times more destructive.
