Nice video. Still, it makes me sad that the general public is so illiterate in terms of science and math that we need such videos.

People in this country are pretty stupid. I think you'll have to dumb it down even further.

Yes, big pharma runs the experiments, they get the results they pay for. That is not evidence of scientific misconduct in the field on climate science THE most heavily scrutinized field of science and THE field where any scientific institute or national academy of science from any country could make it's reputation - and gold plate it - by exposing this supposed misconduct. The climate data that is published shows not even a hint of abuse or blatant error - except by Lindzen, Spencer et al

Google "Corruption in science"..
“It’s a long-standing and crucial question that, as yet, remains unanswered: just how common is scientific misconduct? In the online, open-access journal PLoS ONE, "Daniele Fanelli of the University of Edinburgh reports the first meta-analysis of surveys questioning scientists about their misbehaviours. The results suggest that altering or making up data is more frequent than previously estimated and might be particularly high in medical research."

Just saying something does not make it so. I see no evidence of any problem, no do you present any. Sometimes research organizations only license data for a specific study or specific use (as was the case in "climategate") and can't legally release it. Tough shit, capitalism at work. Pay the license fee.to the owners. There are millions of dollars available from Exxon, Heartland and other sources.
If you can't cite specific cases then I call it bullshit whining.

One problem is that more and more universities are putting their data behind pay walls and not releasing other data without launching a FOIA request. I've also seen studies released to the press before peer review so that the public never hears of corrections or retractions. Part of the problem is that there is too much public money in some of these endeavors.

At least, there is one nice way to communicate with them... And it could be used more rudely if needed (kind of "you are so @%&)*#, just watch that $&#*•?% video, you will get it)
