Im playing this piece in chamber music and I'm playing the bottom part. Usually the person further down on the piano controls the pedal but whoever IS controlling the pedal is using it way too much. Not only are there supposed to be rests everywhere in the left hand (none of which you do), but the whole point of this piece is to create a beautiful continuous line using your hands and your hands only. There is a reason Bizet put all of those rests there

Thanks a lot. Yeah, there's still A LOT of things we have to improve in playing this piece, but we just wanted to see ourselves on youtube anyway, for fun. We'll work on it for some time.

yea and you guys got a good start on it. Half the battle with four hands is getting all 4 hands coordinated and creating a kind of sound where the listener cannot tell which hand belongs to whom. I personally love this piece because although it is relatively simple, it is by no means simplistic. keep it up!

Je joue ce morceau de musique de chambre et je joue la partie inférieure. Habituellement, la personne plus bas sur le piano les contrôles de la pédale mais celui qui est le contrôle de la pédale s'en sert trop. Non seulement y at-il censé être repose partout dans la main gauche (dont aucun ne vous faites), mais tout l'intérêt de cette pièce est de créer une ligne continue beau utilisant vos mains et vos mains seulement. Il ya une raison Bizet mettre tous ceux repose là
