  • What Airport is this ?

  • G-VIIK was my very first 777 flight back in 1998. It flew the inagural 777 flight to DFW of BA. When I flew out to London from DFW, it was on a DC-10-30ER. When we arrived at DFW, there were photographers taking pictures of the aircraft.

  • Let me guess...this day was a Sunday?

  • No problem man. I didn't realise they had these sensors and lights either!

    Thanks for the info.

  • Nah, that was bad wording on my part. I just meant a docking system. It seems to me, even if it were reliable, that people would rather have a person marshalling in a hundred-million dollar Boeing rather than just a sensor with some lights.

  • What is automated taxi? I'm not sure, hope you can enlighten me!

  • yep i was definatly on board xD

  • what date did u take this

  • lol i think i was on that plane

  • It is sorta weird to not see a marshaller, though. You'd think even if they do have the automated taxi system they'd have marshallers and/or wing walkers, just in case.

Cool video, though. Did people in the terminal give you weird looks since you had a tripod? :D
