PowerSchool Gradebook Sucks

It's been a long time since I've used such badly designed software. Old versions of Coda's music notation software, Finale, come to mind... friendly-seeming user interfaces coupled with a disastrous lack of functionality. In this example, a simple error resulted in entering grades as Final grades instead of First Quarter Grades. Simple fix, right? Cut and paste? Not so. They must be individually re-entered in the correct quarter, and then manually deleted, ONE AT A TIME from the Final Grades section, so they don't erroneously appear on report cards. Here's a bit of video on the easiest part of this 4 hour fuster-cluck.

As you can clearly see in this video, those are not the actual grades the students earned, and are being deleted. So, while I did not stop to consider your point, it was considered and dismissed as irrelevant. You get less information about any of my students from this video than you would from a public phonebook, and since you don't know which school I'm in, they're even more useless.

Hey Mr. Smart Guy. Did you ever stop to consider that people can see the names of the students on your PowerSchool account - and maybe from them, bust you for publically showing your student's grades???? Might want to think about it.
