ShelterBox: 10-11 INTERNATIONAL PROJECT

At the Fall Leadership Conference on October 17th, Interact District 5170 reveals the International Fundraising Project and Monetary Goal for the 2010-2011 School Year.

Interact District 5170 is the world's largest and most recognized Interact district with over 90 clubs and 5,000 members in and around the San Jose Silicon Valley Metropolitan Area, California, USA. Interact 5170 is dedicated to serving both the local and international communities through volunteering and fundraising. In 2009-10, Interact 5170 contributed more than 50,000 hours of community service and raised $75,000 for END POLIO NOW. Rotary International has invited Interact 5170 to conduct the official Interact Workshop at the past 5 Rotary International Conventions.

LOL every year I watch the new Interact videos, and they have such inspirational music! Makes me want to get up, do something, and make a difference! (Of course, as soon as the song ends I'm no longer motivated to do anything, and return to my lazy habits).
