FULL HD VIDEO TEST AND EDIT WITH ADOBE PREMEIRE. FIRST DAY OF USING CAMERA. WANTED TO DO FULL TEST AND SEE HOW IT PERFORMED WITH EDITING SOFTWARE. I SPENT A FEW HOURS IN THE GARDEN GATHERING FOOTAGE AND LEARNING HOW TO USE THE CAM. VERY SIMPLE AND INTUITIVE. THIS IS THE VIDEO I MADE AFTER ONLY A FEW HOURS OF USING THIS CAMERA FOR THE FIRST TIME. GOOD EXAMPLE OF ITS VIDEO CAPABILITIES.
MODES USED = MACRO, MANUAL AND AUTO FOCUS. TRIPOD & HANDHELD.

Yes its an amzing camera..... i bought it because i love vidoe and also love photography.... to edit i use Adobe Premiere...and its just as easy as editing any other format of video.. glad u enjoy.. just finished another video withthe FZ100 but a bit more film like. check it out and see waht ya think... cheers antard

why there are those horizontal lines when something is moving? (very strong with the trees) i have this camera and have this issue too.

Looks like this AVCHD the Lumix uses is difficult to edit. What did you do to create this clip?

I'm asking because I'm shopping for a new device. I'm actually working with an old Panasonic NV-GS70 MiniDV camcorder, and I LOVE the thing: Mic In, Everything manual, A/V in-out, FireWIre In-Out.. .everything you could ask.. too bad it doesn't keep up with youtube quality anymore. watch some of my latest videos and you'll see..

I'm after the Nikon P7000 as well, but it lacks in manual controls.

Yes, you surely can. This camera has great manual capabilities for video shooting, although it's not a video camera. Or is it? :)

Can you really shoot video in Manual mode? Can you shift aperture and exposure settings while shooting video?
