Rasas Book Lecture Extract 19 of 22 : the nine rasas or emotional essences have particular relationships to each other, allowing us to counter one rasa with the other in the yoga of the nine emotions. Part of a Yoga class on Rasa Sadhana, the Tantric practice of emotional fasting.

  • Anger is a very strong feeling that for most people is not easy to handle. It highjacks most of the feelings, perceptions and reasoning power. It works like an excess of strong drinks. The limiting threshold bursts and the whole system is overpowered and the person becomes a stylus voicing out the feelings over a limited set of punched data on an LP. Some ways of dealing could be

    JUST GOING AWAY FROM THE SCENE, BRINGING TO MIND HOW HORRIBLE YOU ARE LOOKING AND JUST LAUGH AT YOURSELF.
