For some strange reason, James looks meaner with a beard on than without it. I mean, compare the interview of him on that same year on the suggested list to the right, and see him on stage in this video. Besides him being on stage and singing (obviously) he does have a meaner aura around him with a beard on than without it. Just my speculation.
