"Circumcision" wasn't a part of the original text of "The Bible". The text was added about 500 B.C. over one thousand years after Abraham. No writing pertaining to the act is found in the original text of 950 B.C. It isn't mentioned anywhere in the Koran, and wasn't a part of either religion originally. They adopted it in an attempt to control sexuality. Read "What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Circumcision" by Paul Fleiss ( Heidi's dad ) , a very good book on the subject.

@pshapiro1029 There is no philosophy behind the "commandment" of circumcision, it is a completely arbitrary rule, supposedly imposed by the space god. How do I know this you ask? - from my stepfather, who is an observant, orthodox Jew. I could not care less if adult men and women want to mutilate their genitals, I do however oppose vehemently to submitting defenseless children to this torture.

Thought this guy Campbell was very funny. Got a few belly laughs. He's a comedian, afterall. Don't know why some viewers have to bring a "political" agenda to it. There are other websites to address that. Why can't people just enjoy themselves? There's way to much proselytizing and "PC Speak" in America these days. That's plain fascism. I say, just live and let live and enjoy comedy.
