Mr Lloyd Gonsalvez- who taught in the school i went to was always known for carrying pieces of news paper cuttings with quips and messages. Met him after many years and discovered that he has never been on the internet.

So i decided to put him up here.

  • This video made my day. I am an oldie from a batch in the 80s and hardly a "youth" anymore. But, I remember "Lloyd Sir" and his classes as if it were only yesterday. I attribute my love for the language and my still abiding interest in phonetics to him. What a glorious time it was in my life and what happy memories! My best wishes to Mr Lloyd and hope to see more of our teachers on youtube. Thank you!

  • @rohankram

    You are welcome

  • He was like the pied piper of RSK, very charismatic.

Assuming, sometime my message would reach him: Sir, it was a pleasant surprise to see you on youtube. Such a short note reminds me of Hamlet, brevity is the soul of wit. I believe, like me, there must be a bunch of other alumni who would long to see more from you, please keep it coming.

    Tafxkz, nice job dude!

  • lol- will pass him a printout with these comments

  • The influence of Lloyd Sir has not faded even a wee bit. I try to talk the way he used to talk, respond to wishes the way he used to by bowing a little and nodding, I keep smiling the way he used to smile... One regret however.... I didn't pursue a degree in english literature... Sir, wish I could talk to you someday... I have tried in vain to get hold of your number.. I hope some good samaritan would help me get your contact details.

  • Aravind Parthasarathy, batch of 2000, I never had the pleasure of learning from him directly.

  • welcome
