  • Insightful but boring lol. Like watching the space shuttle launch

  • I've done a lot of manual TIG...Stainless, aluminum, Inconel, copper....and am always amazed when people try to tell they are 'Orbital' welders...doing it by hand...another type of orbital I've seen uses a magnetic field to steer the arc..but, usually for narrower joints than this. The material here looks to be stainless or high nickel alloy..?

  • controling the arc is just 1 small part
