i'm from the middle east and my grandmother's recipe is to add hot black tea instead of just boiling water, a spoon of yogurt, lemon drops and a spoon of pure cocoa powder. then let it soak overnight this way the ingredients will work better together and the texture will be easier to apply. so in the morning when you apply it you just want to leave it for 1-3 hours maximum then wash it with water only not shampoo, then put oil in your hair leave it for few hours then wash it with shampoo :)

I had my hair dyed in december and really want to try henna, like pure lawsonia inermis, and was wondering if it would turn my hair a weird colour like you said in henna head!! please help me!!!

@flower9366 It will look like faint red higlights but in the sunlight it's totally auburn. My hair was the same colour as your before.
