I'm so glad Federer won here. Not because I'm a Federer fan, even though I like him, but because I can't stand tsonga. I just can stand that air of "I'm all that".... Im glad he lost it!!!!

@andy316800 Good points. I'd say Fed doesn't serve as well against Nadal because he knows what's coming AFTER the 1st serve. He also knows Nadal will try to punish his 2nd serve, so it puts even more pressure on his 1st. Basically, the same things Fed does to other players. To be honest, Fed-Nad comes down to ONE shot. Nad's FH to Fed's BH. If Fed could hit cross-court winners at will, he'd beat Nadal, agility and all. That's what Djoker's doing to Nad, more or less.

@cavaleer Well, u have your point. but I dont think it is Nadal doesnt let him play his best. He may have the two things you mentioned, but one thing which Nadal cant influence is Federer's serve. When Fed serves well, he can even beat Djokovic on clay. But i think nadal defo has got into federer's head just like Djo got into his when they play against each other. As in Federer often served at around 50-60% first serve against Nadal in a lot of the matches. :) just my opinion....

@andy316800 Nadal doesn't let him play his best. Nadal does two things that guys like Tsonga, Hewitt, Roddick et al rarely do. He hits winners on the run and he can neutralize Fed's BH. These two take Federer completely out of his comfort zone. Djoker does more or less the same things, in addition to punishing those floater balls that other players just rally right back to Fed. Fed can be beaten but you have to have weapons on both wings and you have to move well.

federer's best is so scary....shame he never played his best when against nadal.....otherwise, he could have had more slams.
