NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED!!!!!!!!!
Instead of saying "Stop! I command you!", Princess Dawn from the DePatie-Freleng cartoon "Here Comes the Grump" sings "Stop! In the Name of Love" (and she sound sounds like Diana Ross too!)

  • Well I think WMG just went through and swept us all cos I've had my Dedicated Monkees fan video up for a year and WMG just had it taken down and I'm in poor standing now. Oh well. I even tried uploading my own cover versions of Monkees, Beatles, Dylan etc. to put with my pictures and they are matched 3rd party. My recordings are 40 years old and they belong to me! I'd just like to know how these other people are getting away with uploading the whole Beatles catalog with just one photo on each.

  • @seltaebgirl I'm sorry to hear about that. This is getting ridiculous. As I mentioned last week, I was forced to remove my "Here Comes the Grump" cartoon fanvid to "Daydream Believer" because WMG blocked it worldwide. Satruday, I also tried to upload another "Grump" cartoon fanvid to "Time of the Season" by the Zombies, and it too get blocked by WMG.

  • @seltaebgirl (continued) What really ticks me off more is that YouTube is the ONLY place now where you can get to see the old TV, the old Saturday morning cartoons (such as "Underdog" and "Here Comes the Grump"), and the great music of the 1960s because the networks and cable channels are more interested in showing modern stuff that's "edgy" and the radio station would rather play Lady Gaga instead of the Lovin' Spoonful.

  • @seltaebgirl (continued) We are not making a profit from these videos, and we ahave NO intention of infringing on anyone's copyright....we are just paying tribute to the TV shows, movies, cartoons and music of our youth.

Why can't YouTube, WMG etc. get that through their heads. One of my YouTubes friends, Pamela Jo Parrish made a video addressing this issue last week. I'll send it tou you.

  • @seltaebgirl These were you recording cover versions of these songs, and you got hit with copyright? This absolutely makes no sense? You have every right to be upset. Again I am very sorry to hear about that. This is starting to get ridiculous.

  • Great video, finally a video of yours that hasn't been taken down once!

  • @clsarashimmer20 Thank you. Though I must admit on Saturday I also tried to upload a "Here Comes the Grump" fanvid to "Time of the Season" by the Zombies, but WMG blocked it.

P.S. Sorry to see that you had to remove your "Grump"/"Sunny Girlfriend" video.

  • From my YouTube friend Gerry50ify - Little known fact: after hearing Princess Dawn singing at the end of "The Good Ghost Ship", Berry Gordy tried to sign her Motown and arrange a duet with Diana Ross. Sadly, Colossus Records beat Berry to the punch. Well, that's show biz.

  • @Porthos1999 Thank you

  • Happy New Year Francis and lets hope its all up from here!
