Actually it is built into the case so no I can't take it out. When I said cut it out I would actually have to cut it out with a knife or something. Now that I've used it for a while though it's not that bad. I'd definitely say buy the case if you have a iPod Classic.

Its good. I think when its new out of the box you have to wear it in so probably after you use it for an hour or so the response will be perfect. It's got great response so its worth a buy.

i have a 30G ipod and it does not fit, the cover won't lock on so it is worthless. 0 out of 10 for me. Piece of crap.

if you can get it for less than $15AUD then by all means get it, but otherwise $40AUD is daylight robbery, not for a piece of junk plastic.

You can get almost identical ones to this on ebay for less than $10AUD which includes postage cost too. So try ebay if you want something like this, BELKIN BRANDS are FULL OF SHIT!!!!!, way overpriced for poor quality stuff

oh one other thing, anthing that fits an 80GB ipod will definitely fit a 120GB ipod as they both are the same thickness and dimensions., hope that helps ;)

theres a new design which is for ipod classic and has the hexagon pattern on the front, it comes in cameo, black, silver.

If i were you i'd avoid this altogether, its pretty shit. I have one and the top right corner of the case is sort of peeling off so i have to press it down everytime i hold the ipod in my hands.

Not recommended at all, i've had it for about 1.5 months now. Avoid like the plague. Find something better, like a metal aluminium case or something.
