Tekken 1 is exactly the same as what you'd find in any other version, right up to today. Just a lot less moves, no tech rolls, no throw escapes, parries or reversals and no side stepping. It also feels a lot slower because of this. String hits are still there as well, e.g. King's 1,2,1,1,2,4,4,4,1,3 is the same as that in Tekken 5 (I have never played T6). Nina also has a multi-part arm break. You can't instantly block in T1, some moves are guaranteed after the first hit, e.g. Michelle 1,1,1
