You're right. I own one and you just have to stay away from panning and don't shoot into your light source.

Jello effect is most noticeable when heavily zoomed.
Otherwise you are absolutely correct and that's why after much deliberation, I bought one today.

I think people over exaggerate about the "jello" effect.
I can see it in some videos, but I've seen some amazing videos filmed by the D90 that show little to no jello effect :)

I do the same. I load the video w/o any conversion and it shows up in high quality. By the way. This camera is mono and not stereo.

Wow, that's a lot better than I thought the D90 would be producing, all the more reason to invest in one.
