I remember waking up after foot surgery last year. It was embarrassing because of something that happened while I was knocked out. I'm glad nobody taped it.

It's cute and kinda sad, I was six when i first got surgery and i just got it again 2 weeks ago....when i woke up my dad said he could just see the tears piling up in my eyes and i turned pale as a sheet (literally) sooo...i feel for her...it doesn't feel nice when u wake up to sheer and pure pain inside and out....

i really don't know why parents feel they have to make vids like this. honestly do really think the kids want to be taped waking up after surgery or that people want to see this? (no offence to the child) who are you really doing it for? show the child respect and let them be at these times. i guarantee that if it was reversed you wouldn't want that cam in your face.

@GallifreyFilms I was raised by a father who documented everything my sisters and I did. Thankfully none of us ever had to endure surgery but I guarantee he would have documented it some how if we did. I, too, now document my children whenever I can. Whether its parties, sports or surgeries, etc. I am extremely thankful for all the memories my father caught on camera. One day, she will be just as thankful. I don't care if you don't understand...Don't watch my videos.. its as simple as that.
