The End

Tony's Description: A Music Video for Contempt Lit. Using the song The End by Matthew West. Filming was done over the course of a week, and many of the locations are very far away. I didn't try and aim for any real special effects this time, and the effects I did are pretty subtle. Hope you like it.

Scenario Summary: The video follows the life of a common man (Tony), and the ideology that life does not always go the way we want it to. In the beginning he forgets his keys (which represents the answer to a problem). However, he loses his car keys, and is forced to make due with what he has (his own two feet). He starts out as a mess, forgetting the time and getting to work late. Upon getting to work, his key will not allow him to get in because they are the wrong set of keys; this also helps point the video to another aspect in life that not all answers will work for the same things. There is also a dog in the movie that brings together two individuals with two different ideologies, and priorities. A girl (Isabell) has just lost her dog and is searching frantically all over town to find it, Tony tries to avoid the lost dog at all costs and in the end decides to take it into his care. At the end of the video, the two unite and everything is good, in the end. Life does not always run the way we want it to, but that does not mean we should despair, it isn't the end; there is always tomorrow.

This video is amazing.

My best friend died from Melanoma last night, and during his last few weeks alive, I really felt this song speak to me.

I wanted to share it with a mutual friend of ours, so of course I checked youtube for it. I never expected something so well done and that captured the ideas of the song so well.

This is great Tony. My wife and I have enjoyed your videos for sometime now and we really miss, "your beautiful" by James Blunt. To me James has missed a great oppurtunity because the old proverb is true, "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery." To me you conveyed the message in the song way better than his lame video.
