From live tv broadcast of the band's appearance on 29 Live ep #94, 12/5/1997. This show represented the very first public deployment of the now famous big CXQ5 letters. Sadly, drummer Brian Fitch was killed in a car accident during the week following the program.

  • Hey, Brian is my dad. To see him on a video playing like that, means a lot. Thanks for posting this video! I haven't heard from my uncle Rob in a while...maaan. This is Cheyenne btw haha (:

  • Your brother had a pretty good band there.

I too put CXQ5 on a 'whim' search and found this. I was given their CD at a show for the band PILOT many many years ago. I never saw CXQ5 but I liked the CD just fine. Best song on the disc: "I'm CXQ5 and I'm barely alive can ya hear me?"

  • hey....that's my brother :) I just put CXQ5 in search on a whim...it took my breath away and made me cry. damn.
