I'll be doing a tribute to Les Paul Tonight (8/13) on my internet radio station, Warrior Rock Radio. 9PM Eastern Time. It'll be available for listening after the broadcast is over, as well.

I had to make a tribute to the world's greatest, Les Paul. It's the biggest tragedy in the history of music that he passed away. I have always admired Les Paul, but I sadly never got to see him or meet him. He will continue to be known as the greatest Musician that ever lived.

Les Paul's music was a great inspiration to me in the late 1940s. His speed, precision and multi-layered notes were awesome-- unheard of until then. Learning to play Nola was a challenge. He has been my favorite musician for more than sixty years. How High the Moon, Little Rock Getaway, Whispering, World is Waiting for the Sunrise, Goofus.... RIP Les, you have left a legacy!

His death has left a hole in many many hearts. I surely hope there will be tribute made to this great man, now that he is gone. I can just imagine the kind of band that could be assembled simply using guitarists who have used nothing but Les Paul's over their career. Keith Richards said if it wasn't for Les Paul, generations of punks would have been either in jail or cleaning toilets. What more can you say, he helped lots of us by giving us the gift of music.
