amazing color and contrasts! loved it -- and the bling, too! not too happy, however, about unsanitary conditions, such as food and money handled together. i know it's laughable, but i also know how sick i've gotten from eating street fare! thanks for posting this, a wonderful window onto the start of a lovely day. i'll check your other vids...

Do you know the difference between Burmese cuisine and that of the Khmer or Cambodian people? It does look remarkably similar...but I'm probably wrong and missing the subtleties.

Burmese food may indeed be one of the best around but sadly not many people outside of Burma have got a chance to savour it. Although in my case, I'm a little luckier as there is a thriving Burmese community in Singapore. Still that ain't no good enough, I have to get into Burma one of these days. Just hope that the visa process won't be a problem though.

What is that burmese noodle salad that has 12 ingredients and is served cold or room temperature? Do you have a video of that?

Yes, it's in my video called "Burmese Salads". It's called let-thok sohn (hand-tossed salad).
