no i do not understand! i want to add more pictures to my ipad. i already have lots of albums in yhe photo library but when i try to add just one extra photo a box appears suggesting that i will erase all my existing albums WHY?

@firstavenue100 It sounds like you changed the main directory in iTunes which is syncing with the iPad. You need to add the folders with images to the main directory so that the files can be included in the sync. iTunes allows you to select one directory (pictures for example) and then you can select the folders containing pictures within the directory...

How do i add new folders to my ipad and not lose all the existing pictures i already have on my ipad

@firstavenue100 Add the folder to the main directory you chose in iTunes. So if you chose Pictures as your main directory in iTunes to sync with the iPad. Add the new folder/pictures in the "Pictures" directory. When you do this you will need to select them in iTunes if you have it set to sync only selected folders. Hope this makes sense.
