It's a travesty no one has posted any Sonny Green on this,our grand meeting place for unsung musical heroes and the great artifacts they left for all posterity.....MAN,I AM SOOO PHILOSOPHIC AND ERY'THAING!! LOL

Anyways,here's some West Coast flavored blues from Sonny Green. Sonny Green recorded for Matt Hill's Hill imprint (his label mate was Matt's famed brother ZZ HILL).

"Dont Let Your Mouth Write A Check" was arranged by Miles Grayson and produced by Matt Hill.
This 45 was issued on the green and yellow Hill label as well as the tan and brown UA lobel. I have both...na-nana-na-nah!!

This tune sounds like some ol' Ralph and Alice Kramden dealings,thus the theme of this vid.

I used to sing with Sonny Green he got me my first gig in Amarillo,Texas in 1966 and I see him everytime I can.
