  • I would like to see what kind of people will vote for the party ( current uniforms soldiers turned civilians) that have had killed so many of its own unharmed people, students, women, children and even Monks,in the election of 10-10-2010.

  • Aung San Suu Kyi is adorable woman.

  • Thanks.Next to my mother,I adore her too.

  • What kind of a government would shoot its own unharmed people, even monks, students women and children ?

  • @uwinmg if Aung San Suu Kyi were to create a democratic government it would be no different, they supposedly have to act in bounds of the law, but they'll twist their actions &rewrite new laws to able themselves to act in totalitarian means. if anarchists were to try to overthrow her government she would violently crush them. thats in contradiction to what "freedom" means. her government would have laws & if people broke them the police would commit heinous acts to capture the perpetrator

  • @uwinmg what government would notshoot its unarmed citizens? every single regime on this planet has committed heinous acts of violence towards its own citizens. name one government who isnt repressive. And please dont say something foolish like the USA b/c heinous acts of violence are committed 1000's of times every day in that country. the whole purpose of a government is to maintain order and power. if order and power are at risk they will go to any means to regain that power and order

  • You Americans are very ignorant. Men are not wearing "skirts" in Burma. It's called "Sarong" and worn in some of the Southeast Asian & South Asian countries. Go look it up in the dictionary. You don't know anything about other cultures. I doubt that you even knows your history and culture.

  • Dont look upon it as sacrifice, it is a choice, if you choose to do something, then we should not say it is a sacrifice, because no body force you to do it.

  • Where men wear "skirts" and women smoke "cigars"?? Stupid journalist didn't get her facts right... These are not called skirts, they're called Sarongs.. and only old women smoke these so-called cigars... In fact, they are not cigars..They're made up of layers and layers of corn leaves or tobacco leaves...

  • i know they just did not spell her name wrong. Hoda Kotbe, which is spelled HODA KOTB

  • Aung San Suu Kyi,

Sorry, we have let you down.

  • (((F R E E B U R M A)))
