Great video! Please to see that encaustic is catching on. After a trip to England in 2003, I discovered encaustic. When I decided to explore, I had no where to go to learn or buy supplies here in Omaha. I found one piece of encaustic at a gallery in Countyside Village. I had to order all my supplies from England; very expensive with the exchange rate of the pound and shipping. Through the enhancement of the internet, I discovered sources for supplies in the US; such as R & F.

I just love your attitude about investing in your own ceative life. I want to be where you seem to be.
I know that some encaustic artists are using acrylics and oils and I am curious what paints are you using?
Thank you for sharing, I look forward to seeing more of your inspiring work.
what is encaustic?

@1962memories From Wikipedia, "Encaustic painting, also known as hot wax painting, involves using heated beeswax to which colored pigments are added."
