The Aleph.mp4

This is a school exercise!!!
Installation work "The Aleph" is visualization of Borges short story with same title. I am particularly focused on the moment in the story where Borges met the Aleph,in the basement,down the stairs:"On the back part of the step, toward the right, I saw a small iridescent sphere of almost unbearable brilliance. At first I thought it was revolving; then I realised that this movement was an illusion created by the dizzying world it bounded. The Aleph's diameter was probably little more than an inch, but all space was there, actual and undiminished ..."(http://www.phinnweb.org/links/literature/borges/aleph.html)

Installation itself is build with 2 levels of interpretation,one which gives you slight overview(with the optical system which turns "the aleph" up side down and it is difficult to keep the focus,so viewer cant stay there for long) and another one which allow the viewer to cruse around true the aleph with binocle and get his /her personal experience. It is followed by Soundscapes by Theodor Zox/ double jet unrealised album "intro" & "extro". Intro is coming from inside for the viewer with binocle and extro is on the headphones next to the first optic device.
The still photos and video work are showing "expiriance" of instalation which I consider as pilot project since it was done as "school work" with time limitation and no budget. I would like to expend this project and build it again with all of expirance I achieved with the pilot project.
