The mad scientists in the Phase One Lab decide to test a P30+ digital camera back to extreme by dropping it in a bucket of dry ice at -79°C (-110F). Amazingly it still works perfectly!

  • its the best machine to buy ,whant to sponsor me?

  • Of course it works! The sensors used in those backs are made for satellite cameras. It's cold in space. That's why they fail in hot places.

  • it works fine in cold,. but my P45 died in Turkey when temperatures went to 110F and when I was shooting in the sun,.CCD sensor heats up and cold is actually helpfull,. it cannot be said the same for heat

  • Absolutely awesome! I love my P30. but I wouldn't do that... not for an 18000$ back...
