Elegante Enters the Cut.mov

Ted Hoheisel has a long time love affair with ELEGANTE, a 55 foot luxury motor yacht built in 1964 by Henry C. Grebe. Trucked all the way from Chicago for Westlake Chevrolet, an event featured in Pacific Motorboat Magazine. She was originally christened WESTLAKE II. On July 4th, 1978, Ted was on vacation in Seattle from Redding, California. Visiting the Hiram Chittenden Locks as a tourist, he took pictures of the boats he saw in transit, little realizing he was photographing a boat he would someday own and skipper. Very active in the Classic Yacht Association, Ted and ELEGANTE make a perfect couple.
