Anything MMO which is actually trying is better then WOW nowadays IMO..
WoW has no direction to it other then to make a s much money as possible.
Too bad though.. loved the game to bits....

yah it was revolutionary, it brought "Mainstream" to MMO. I'm an ex-Asherons call, Everquest player, and UO player.
Yeah maybe I used the wrong word, but they accomplished what no other MMO company could do.
"Get anyone to play" , its the right balance of everything. Other MMO's are too hardcore to ever get enough subscribers...no subscribers..no content/life..
Look at SWG and FF XI
But yes, I don't think of WoW as anything too special.

@magicalpoop WoW didn't revolutionize anything at all. WoW polished what was already done and sold it packed with their own lore.
That's it. Does it deserve credit for its polish? Yes, but Wow is NOT revolutionary AT ALL.

does aion have good PvE instances kinda like WoW style? because i kinda wanna switch to Aion but if it dosent have good PvE instance i dont think it will b worth it
