I bought one of the Silvertone Jupiter in 1961. Selling it was the biggest mistake I ever made. That guitar was one of the easiest playing, and best sounding, guitar I've came across as of yet. (But maybe I'm just dreaming.) It seems like it was better than the Tele I have now, and the LP I recently gave to my grandson.

did Harmony own Silvertone or something? It looks very similar to an H49 Jupiter Stratotone by Harmony. Nice playing!

No Silvertone was a brand name that Sears used, they never actually made there own guitars. Sears had several guitar makers, including Harmony and probably a dozen other makers, make guitars for them.
So yes Harmony made this guitar and it is very similar to the Harmony Jupiter.
Harmony made guitars/guitar bodies for probably near 100 different companies under different brand names, yes even including some Gretsch & Fender models!
