Figure Skating with 6-yr-old Madison Thayer - Colonial Basic Skills Competition, Ice Skating

http://newenglandmultimedia.com -- This video of Madison Thayer, a young up-and-coming skater, was shot by New England Multimedia "on the fly" at the Colonial Basic Skills Competition in 2010.

We had to record from a cut-out spot in the wall because we couldn't get permission to shoot from anywhere else, and we didn't know her routine, but we managed to capture some great stuff! Isn't she adorable?

Madi came in 2nd place at the Boston Open going up against girls 10-14 years old. We will upload the Boston Open video shortly. She will be competing at the Cranberry Open in August.

Madison knocked it out the box this past weekend at her first Open at The North Shore Open. she was the youngest, being only 7 and the other girls being 11-14 yrs. old. She placed in the top 4 out of 9 other girls. Madi is tiny but mighty!!!!!

Rock it little one! This little girl is amazing. You finally made it into the big leagues. Pays off skating with Mr. Olympia, specially when you already are a prodigy! He is going to take you so far. Little Madison skates at one of the same rinks as me. She is competing on Monday (1/17/2011) at the Bog in Kingston Ma. She is one of our favorite little sk8trs. She is the youngest in her level. This will be interesting and alot of fun.
