Perkin's "Confessions of an Economic Hitman" should be taught in EVERY Jr and High School, as one of the prerequisites to earn the privelege/right/responsibility of voting -- THEN we might take our democracy of informed self-governing consent seriously, reject tyranny & abuse of power, vote our conscience even IF its 'None of the Above' instead of the fatcat plutocrats who sold out to corporate fascists & proxy-puppet dictators.

Perkins is a very brave freedom fighter neo-Patriot.

If what perkins wrote in the book is true (of course I believe about 80% of it) but then why is he still alive... I mean... the american government official or some CIA agent could have been assigned to secretly assassinate him?

Did he not just expose the government and AID organizations?

In america these days its not longer allowed to critisie the government or their foreign policy.

We have seen it so many times, like bradley manning.. Telling the world from an honest heart whats really going on, telling the truth and being isolated and prosecuted.

@smart0money I don't buy your win/win theory. It is always win/lose for the Africa, or other developing countries who make business with the powerful ones. China treats even its own people like they are cheap dirt. Check the recent Chinese train crash victims. Only one can imagine what would happen when Chinese capital will take over the control of the economic markets all over the world? We will be suffering and I cannot see any escape from this considering the current outlook.
