  • ive done this mod already, except i didnt file it =( i should though but its a pain in the ass to put together cuz of the wings need to be aligned just right of thge lil peg that keeps the backpack from not moving, you get what i mean? but just a question did u find this mod out from Jin Santoame? sdorry about spelling

  • yes. At the end i give credit to Jin Satome

  • Nice little mod. I've got him and I love him already, this mod would probably make him that much better but I wouldn't trust myself with it unless I managed to pick up a second one just in case.

The fact that the mod is so easy almost makes me wonder if they originally planned on it being this way and just decided to half-ass it or just forgot. Who knows?

  • I highly recommend it! You're really that ill-confident with yourself then maybe you can buy the color variant and do it on your original. In all honesty though, this is the easiest custom I've ever done and I'm sure anyone can do it as long as they have the tools!

It really added more fun for me to do this modification.

  • I have him and i love him too, i think it would be cool if u reviewed your custom one.

  • I'll be sure to put one up!

  • Nice mod! I'm going to do a similar one with my DOTM "Leader 1" (slight) repaint/custom.

  • for all 20 of us who got breakaway. lol

  • I know it's quite late, but I only now got my Breakaway figure and decided to mod him using your lead.

However, as a headsup when modding the torso part, instead of cutting the rubber nose, you can take the plastic piece off (just pull, it's a single piece) and then carve it instead, which is what I did here since I didn't have anything to cut the rubber at all.

Anyway, awesome vid and thanks to you my Breakaway can turn his head and be all badass!

  • what i might do to my thrust is to take the lower cockpit out take the plastic underneath off then glue it to the top cockpit and thrust's head will have more room

  • I saw this one, really good custom of Breakaway, with a shortened Flak Cannon, and some added missiles on the side in Jet mode. The paint job the guy did is INCREDIBLY. The guy who made it was called Jin Satome I think.........

  • is the modification with the head part optional? cuz im ok with just 360 articulation

  • oo and i did all the cutting with an exacto knife and cutting pryers for the body, the rest was the knife, head was annoying but you can trim the inside of the inside of the nose cone and pop off the blue peg, its easy to go back on, and as for the windshield, i cut most of the peg that makes the front cockpit hold in between the the body but i made it so it can slide out
