  • Looks good. What was the point of the small piece of plywood covering the sprue hole before you flipped it off?

    It's to keep debris from falling down the sprue hole. Normally I remember to remove it before I start prepping the melt for pouring.

  • Are you positive it's brass? Maybe it's bronze.

  • i might want to suggest an ingot mould and a pouring shank. that looked a little close for comfert. other than that looks good though parents would kill me if i just dumped my slag off to the side into the grass
