This is the first of many videos depicting the lives of 47 students from all over the US as they study abroad in the United Kingdom, specifically Dalkeith, Scotland.
I am an embedded journalist, the media project coordinator, the documenter, or "the film guy," and I am here with the students from September to December of 2010. Also with me is a fellow filmmaker and student, Andrew Murphy. Be sure to give him a high five for his efforts and creation of the opening -- you've never seen a man so bent on exacting that many keyframes...
Enjoy!

Great intro Andy. Off topic: I'm not sure if youv'e spent much time overseas, but you'll probably notice a difference in the conduct of many rock concert attendees. I saw Brian Setzer of the Stray Cats in Amsterdam last July. You could hear a pin drop during the concert. In the US it appears that half the crowd is usually visiting, yelling, sometimes fighting, and not paying attention to the performers. See if you see this difference overseas and have a great time.
