Radial Club Hand

Meet 8-year-old Grant Gray. He was born without the radius bone in both arms, a condition known as radial club hand. Fortunately, his family brought him to the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Md. and Shawn Standard, M.D. The RIAO is one of only a few centers in the entire country with the expertise to treat Grant's condition. Grant is now well on his way to a life his family once thought would never be possible.

Thank you for sharing. I was also born with a radial club hand and had all the surgeries. Just know your beautiful the way you are. If I was to give advice it would be never hide your arms they are perfect the way they are. I used to hide my arm bc everyone kept staring at me and I hated the stares. It took me a while but I grew out of hiding my arm and just started to show my arm more.

I am just like that little boy but a little different i was born with radial club arms and i never had surgeries bc doctor's told me that i would die on the table, but to this day i get people everywhere talkin about bc of my arms and i can't take it anymore.

such a cute boy ! i'm 17 now with a radial club hand , I've done the surgeries as well , he's gonna have a normal happy life :)

P.s please focus on using both hands , and not neglecting them , cause sadly that's what I've done after my last surgery and things got complicated , I needed physical treatments and stuff like that , so be careful .
