    yeah, that was kinda strange. Vai's guitarwork beats miles on Devin's... On every other aspect though, Devin is just a way more interesting and memorable artist. His songwriting, humor, production style, versitality and overall personality makes him one of the most amazing musician of our time.

    I disagree. Have you seen some of Steve's other live stuff? Im not saying he is at all a bad guitar player, and he may be better than Devin (don't like to make it a competition,) but he likes dressing up and shooting lasers out his fingers and guitar.

    Vai is more of a showman than a guitarist. Devin doesn't throw solos in every song, doesn't have lasers shooting from his fingers or any of that other crap Vai does. He may not be a "better guitar player," but definitely a better all around musician.
