When I was in high school, I only learned about creationism in history class when it came to discussing the Scopes Trial, nothing more. My science class was science, no religious content whatsoever, and I was more than satisfied with that. The teachers of Cobb County who speak on behalf of their faith don't seem to realize they are going against the Constitutional rights they also swore to teach of. They should have their teaching certificates revoked.

Am I the only one who feels sorry for the willfully ignorant? Hell i believe in God. But Im not retarded. How long is his day? Y wouldnt the universe function on a set of rules? Why would God give us the tools to better understand it? And Christian or not. When I see you saying something flat out wrong and presenting it as fact while abusing an inherent trust because its from a christian to a christian. That just makes you a bad person. how can these people complain about kids being subjected to evolutionary ideas when they do the exact same thing in church about god and heaven except there is a HUGE downside to not believing in god, an eternity of torture is more of a brainwashing tool than pictures of monkeys evolving to humans. total hypocracy.

Let me give you a something to think about.
Norse mytology and greek mythology contains the same amount of "proof" for how the earth came to be as the bible. Wich is some 3-4 thousands of years old tales that was wroten down. Why is it then that people think that nether the norse or greek mythology gods are considred real if God is?
evolution is not a religion. anyone who would claim it to be dosen't know what defines religion.
