Just a great song and one of those special songs that you just never forget even years later, and I love that second verse when the backing vocals and horns join Peter, and then of course the strong ending...wonderful.

Singer/songwriter/keyboard player Robert Lamm. He's an original member and still plays with the band today. They sound great live. And he is still quite the dish at 67.

I completely agree about synth and digital recordings. Give me real music, where real people play instruments and occasionally are not note perfect!! These guys were outrageously talented and so much better than most of the digitally perfect music on the radio today. They didn't need gimmicks, light shows, fancy costumes, and a host of dancers to present their music. They just came out and played! Also, this is part of a TV special that was made-not the actual studio recording of the song!

You have got to be kidding, right???? When is one synth ever better than a live horn section?? NEVER!!!! Get over all the techno stuff and get back to real musicians playing real music!!! What a douche bag!!

Obviously the opinion of a "pro" with a whole 18 months experience (in his parents' basement). Attention, please, Dexter Dumbf--k ... this was a "live" studio recording for a TV special. Please take yourself with all of your "pro music expertise" and rap your freestyle clueless arse into your own miserable little corner and leave the music fans with taste and an appreciation for "real" music to "suffer" through these oh-so-dreadful Chicago recordings. What a clown this Jack Simone tool is. ...
