@ReasoningAndThinking I don't think The Fall was a tragedy at all. Consider Milton's "Paradise Lost." Milton showed the fall had to happen in order for something better to come about and to see God's love and mercy. Without the fall, none of this would be possible.
Of course we are only guilty for our own sins. Adam's disobedience brought sin into the world, but that doesn't mean we're guilty for his sins. I believe as humans we are naturally at enmity with God--naturally rebellious & sinful

True but isn't "The Fall" portrayed more of a tragedy in Christianity ?
That we are here because Adam made a mistake ?
In Islam its that Adam made a mistake or not , we were bound to be sent to earth to be tested and that we are only sinful for our own sins , not because of the sin of Adam.
We are here until the Day of Judgment where as the Quran say that No father will bear the sin of his child nor will the child bear the sin of his father. There shall be no injustice on it.

@ReasoningAndThinking I think you misunderstand Christianity. Yes, Christianity says death was introduced because of sin, and all men are sinners, but death has been conquered. Do you honestly believe you are as Holy and blameless as the One True God? Jesus said if you look at a woman with lust, you have committed adultery. If you hate your neighbor, you have committed murder. Christ came because we cannot keep the law 100%. 1 mess up makes you impure. A little leaven leavens the whole loaf.

True
But the major difference I would point out is that Christianity is more focused on repairing the sin committed by Adam and Eve. Jesus is sacrificed to pay for it.
But Islam is focused on the rebellions of Satan where he became arrogant , disobeyed God and swore to deceive people to Hell. Adam was forgiven though.
So it was all planned, God wanted to test us (in this life) to see who will be deceived by Satan and see who stay obedient to Him. This is the belief in Islam.

@ReasoningAndThinking thank you for commenting. Yes, you, me, the atheist, we all take things by faith. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
1. Perhaps it is not Quranic, but I have heard Muslims say that Muhammad was the greatest prophet. I will do more digging.
2. This is 1 major difference between the 2. In Christianity, your works will NEVER be good enough for a HOLY God. It is strictly God's love & Mercy (grace) that save us.
Thx

But doesn't the Christian also say Jesus is Lord and died for sins BECAUSE the Bible says so?
1.Also Muhammad (PBUH) never said that he is greater than Jesus, he said that he is like any prophet and even equal to Jonah who ended up in the whale for making a mistake.
2.And Quran and Muhammad (PBUH) says that you will go to Paradise due to God's Mercy and HOPEFULLY with good deeds, He will reward you with Paradise for He is the Most Merciful .
Just pointing out the two misconceptions.
Peace.
We all have a common enemy my friends, so instead of Focusing on who's right. Focus on the true enemy so that one cannot be decieved. Focus on Satan, his angels, his dominions/demons, his secret religions, his illuminati, his world order, his lies.

@Redrum059 Who is right is very important. If Jesus & the Bible are correct, all Muslims are going to hell for refusing to worship the One True God was was and is and is to come. As Philippians says, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is LORD. This would mean that Mohammad was a counterfeit prophet sent by Satan or the djinn to deceive people away from Christ.
If Mohammad is right, it doesn't matter who we worship because Allah chooses at whim who to let in.
