@ngttan3 I was thinking the same thing but if you look at the behind the scenes videos for Wallace and Gromit or any of the other Aardman stop motion films/shows, you'll see that for every mouth movement they change the mouth itself. So because it's such a long process changing the mouth and remoulding the clay around it to look smooth, I'm guessing they just didn't bother this series assuming kids wouldn't notice
