Unlock & Jailbreak Iphone 3GS/ 3G IOS 4.2.1 (BB 5.14.02 & 5.15.04) Mac Version

This video is for all iphone users who want to unlock their phone. Your Iphone has to be on ios 4.2.1. This method uses the ipad baseband and replaces it in to your phone's firmware because thats the only way to unlock your iphone right now. upgrading your baseband will void your warranty so only upgrade if you have to. If you upgraded to 4.1 by mistake and lost your unlock the only way to unlock your phone again right now is to follow this method.

before you begin your iphone has to be either on 4.1 or 4.2.1. for this to work.

I'm running at error 1015, cann't get out, I try DFU mode already, what else can I do?

hey if i hit the itunes restore button i cant choose a ipsw it just says: restore and put the things in a back up.... but i want to see that screen where you can choose your IPSW!!!!

@annapyea I think for Mac you have to press shift or alt at the same time as you press restore

Can I get the apps/music etc. from before I jailbroke my phone back after it's jailbroken by just syncing it with itunes or will that mess it up? PLEASE reply!!!

@smprasse thats because you have tiny umbrella installed, open tiny ubrella, go to avanced tab and uncheck set hots to cydia is the thrid one down
