Bulls vs Heat 1997 - Game 2 - Michael Jordan 23 points

Because they won, the Bulls could laugh about this one after the game.

Jordan and Pippen each scored 23 points, but it was not pretty.

MJ hit just 4 of 15 shots and Scottie hit 9 of 21. Mike got his points from the free throw line, hitting 15 of 16.

The Bulls beat the Heat in game two, 75-68.

While the game itself wasn't much to smile about, the postgame press conference was entertaining. I've added some highlights from the postgame in this video.

I remember taping this game and taped game 3 over it because the game like MJ said was ugly. I look forward to your game 4 post where MJ & the bulls played another ugly game through 3 quarters (he shot something like 2-22) but scored 20 points in the 4th to almost single handedly pull off the win. Remember folks, he was 34 years old that time!

This game shows why MJ is the greatest. He shoots horribly, but he stays aggressive, keeps his other stats (rbs and assts) up, and gets to the free throw line. No weaknesses. Great post!

After watching this game it shows exactly why the Bulls were able to win all those championships. There offense wasn't the best this game but they played great team defense that carried them through.
