On 22 May 2011 the London Transport Museum organised some vintage vehicles to run on London Underground's Metropolitan line between Amersham and Watford (direct) and in Rickmansworth town to the Rickmansworth Festival.
Here @ 2:10 a 1938 tube stock train runs from Amersham towards Watford
@ 5:55 it runs from Rickmansworth to Amersham (complete trip)
@ 17:22 an RT bus ride in Rickmansworth
@ 19:00 the prototype Routemaster bus RM1 ride in Rickmansworth
@ 23:40 a trip in a train powered by two diesel shunters at one end and Metropolitan electric locomotive Sarah Siddons at the other end.

  • Some interesting footage. I asume you are still using your old VHS cam?

  • @Klingl3r Yes it's from 2002, though not the same camcorder that was used in the Berlin & Paris videos in the 1980s!

  • @Yolticat Ok, but it could be possible. I have an 23 years old Panasonic VHS camera with lead battery *lol* and it still works.
