  • As an American, just wondering... Are those squigly road lines at 0:20 just suposed to tell drivers to be cautious? Oh, and you all drive on the wrong side of the road :)

  • Ha. Yeah the zig zag lines are what we have leading up to padestrian crossings so yeah it is a warning. Also you can never ever park on them which makes sense.

  • Well chaptainchaos and robertgift it's been a pleasure reading your discussion. Who agrees with what doesn't matter to me, it's the manner in which you two chaps have debated this. Very civilised, no swearing or usa/britain is best arguments.

If only the rest of youtube could be the same.

  • Good bit of driving, fast but safe and not in the slightest careless. I always move over as soon as I see emergency vehicles but I'm amazed how many don't even notice them! Only problem is, the police are prosecuting drivers for jumping red lights to move out of the way of fire engines and ambulances, so people will just sit and wait now due to this selfish attitude. If the police used common sense more people would clear junctions and traffic lights for you. Interesting video.

  • @001looker I passed actually. Fire officers can actually stop you and get your details to give to the police, and the camera footage can be given to the police who can/and do issue tickets. same when a car driver cuts up a cyclist who has a helmet camera. They may not see the driver in the footage but they can still be charged with an offence and suitably punished. My tutor (a police officer) told me. and so did my other tutor (an ex fire officer of 33 years) who has actually done it.

  • @joelwhitaker Nice try but you failed law 101. Register owner is not responsible for the action(s) of the driver. Unless police officer witness violation(s) and pulls vehicles over no ticket can/will be issued.

  • @001looker actually fire appliances have cameras....any vehicle that blocks the vehicle on purpose has its details passed to the police and they do ticket you. nice try....failed

  • and wheres the AIR HORN lol

  • @nathan5470 where were you stationed in kent?

  • @Badchoicesmade Yes i am an asshole and yes i can get ticket if cop catches me aka sees me violating the law and pulls me over.

  • In america, instead of turning off the siren when a truck is stopped behind a vehicle, we lay on the horn.

  • @001looker Well you're an asshole, and you could get a ticket if a cop catches you.

  • So there was no actual fire? It was just a set course for you to do? Even still.. Nice Driving :) Also the guy that keeps talking in the background, is he telling you where to go/what to do?
