Early Bosko film from WB - in fact it was only the third film they released. Directed by Harman-Ising and drawn by Friz Freleng and Norm Blackburn.

  • hey stop putting words in the video its a distraction.

  • @march95clarke Hello! If you don't want to see those, you don't have to. There is a button just to the left of the resolution setting to "hide annotations". Click it and you will see it annotation free.

  • Interesting. How do you get all those notes to pop up on the video?

  • @411314 Those are called annotations. If you upload a video then edit it, you'll see options for creating them.

  • Dude! Their not Micky Mouse look a-likes if they came first.

  • Maybe I am misunderstanding you but Mickey Mouse appeared in 1928 which was two years before this film.

  • Well, he looked like Mickey Mouse and this is a WB cartoon, so...

  • What did that mouse do to deserve getting his head cut off?

  • @laughland thank you laughland your awsome

  • @uponit57 Pre-Code refers to the period of time BEFORE 1936 when there were no specific rules governing decency for either live-action movies or animated shorts. The Hayes Office Code Act of 1936 changed this and said that anything shown in movie theaters couldn't contain anything that could be seen and/or heard as being raunchy. But because the original code was so poorly written, most film companies continued to ignore it until a much tougher version was enacted in 1937. I hope this helps!

  • Wow, I thought Bosco was a black kid cartoon? He looks like a monkey in this. I guess WB was going through a few changes and was trying to distinguish Bosco from Disney when color came out.

  • @spritemaster4000 What's Pre-Code?

  • Anyone else reminded of Animaniacs?
