  • good wheelies man....way better than me....i love bringing the front up but i cant hold it....ive always had a fear of tipping over even on bicycles and i cant get over the fear so i just do little wimpy wheelies but its sooooo much fun....keep it up!!!!

  • @DTNorthern dude i am the same way which is why even my wheelies are only a few seconds long, it is so hard to balance the bike! I always run out of gear and have to shift but I run out of torque eventually because I can't balance the bike and keep her at a steady speed.

one thing that helped me is just keep your foot on the back break so if you do start to loop over, hit the break and it brings the front end down as soon as you hit it

  • is it for sale

  • @shymir10 haha no way man I love this bike to death! even though its older i still like it a lot

  • you need to pick a higher gear!! i think you are in first?

the bike is powerful enough to make a wheely in a higher gear. i know i did it! than you can make longer wheelies:D houdoe

  • Actually, just about all of these wheelies began in second gear

with some of the ones on the road, I still had the tire in the air in 5th gear

I haven't been able to shift while doing wheelies for very long so I'm still practicing! :)

  • nice bike

  • do your horrible at wheelies, once you get up to spped swith to 3rd, and dont use clutch, power shift in wheelies

  • how come your bike has the conventional forks,I see some with the inverted type --

  • OK!

  • Late-model 2-strokes powerband's are so "peaky", it's hard to hold a good wheelie. Try riding an old-school 2-stroke and you'll see what I mean. I used to ride balance-point wheelies, thru top gear, on my '86 YZ250 for literally miles on the back-roads. I thought nothin of it 'till I tried doing it on a stock '96 CR250. Wrecked twice really bad, still have a scar on my arm 15 years later. Power-band hits, and you loop-out instantly. Gotta be on that rear brake quick!

  • second gear is the best to pull a wheelie

  • u rock dude

  • @DTNorthern i can do stand ups on a bmx for a good distance lol. its a lot different on my YZ125 though. i ride about 2 block of cement in a neighborhood's street

  • Hey where are u from

  • @tinman717 I know you have probably been riding longer than me (I have rode for 4 years) But when I first got my dirt bike I started obsessing over wheelies and then I moved from a 125 to a crf230f and I started practicing even more and found a pavement spot to ride on and I just rode a 1/5th mile wheelie 3 days ago. But anyway I was going to give you a tip when you are on the road start your wheelies in 3rd and stay on the gas until you get to the point where you can keep it up with the gas
